The Maine Community College System (MCCS), through the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce, is offering supplemental funding for training and professional development that advances frontline incumbent workers’ skills, leading to career advancement and job security.

Brief description of the course:

The Inclusion Maine Conference is an annual multi-day educational experience to improve skills and knowledge on talent attraction and retention in Maine. Through this experience, HR Professionals, Business Executives, Nonprofit Leaders, and Government Officials learn about improving community and workplace inclusion. The agenda of the Conference focuses on most pressing challenges and innovative programs aimed at addressing Maine's workforce needs. Learn, Connect, and Take action as a community at the Inclusion Maine Conference to attract, recruit, and retain talent in Maine. The Inclusion Maine Conference is approved by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and HR Certification Institute (HRCI) for Professional Development Credits.

How will this training contribute to the employees' growth?

Example: Employees will grow through critical skills and knowledge gained to assist their employer in meeting the organizational workforce needs.
